About the client
Air One aircraft is an Israeli startup, creating personal, intuitive flying vehicles at scale, for exciting and safe experiences. Air One contacted us to develop the luggage system for their personal flying plane experience.
The Challenge
The main challenge in this project was to develop a luggage system within the stringent constraints of the limited space inside the cockpit and adhering to the usability requirements. The luggage system design had to align with the company’s brand values–luxury goods and the extreme-outdoor space gear look & feel attributes.
Our Solution
The development process was done in collaboration with Air One interior designers and started with a basic understanding of the plane’s interior and the luggage system's intended location.
We built a using scheme that defined the general shape and proportions and with two-dimensional sketches, mock-ups, fitting sessions and fabrics, materials and buckles we got into the final form.
